Who doesn’t love the dollar store? I always hit the toy aisle. It’s impressive what toys you can buy for $1. I’m a sucker for all the dinosaurs, animals and games you can buy.
Now, you can start your own dollar store for $45,900. I don’t know the details. I just came across an ad the other night on Google. I was doing a search for “dollar store catalogs”. Or you can get a dollar store for $65,000.
Me personally, I’d rather buy 65,000 items at the dollar store rather than open my own store.
I was going to say the same thing, that is, if you bought a dollar store you would prolly have MORE than 65,000 items AND the store. Inventory would be coming in all them time and you could add to your Dollar Store collection.
In Canada [sorry, I just got back from Vancouver] their dollar stores are called Loonie Toonies [Twonies], also named after their currency, more specifically their 1 dollar coin [with a loon on it] and their 2 dollar coin [two-nie]
:]
didn’t we have a discussion about Canadian money somewhere recently?
I think it was over on Matt’s blog … could have been here … gosh, I know we did, but where?
but if i bought a dollar store, i’d be stuck with 90% junk like can openers and soap.
What I should do is open a dollar store that is strictly toys. Why hasn’t anyone done that yet? There’s always people cruising through the toy section.
what’s the matter, erik? you don’t use soap? that explains things…. ๐
I ate the dollar store
