I was posting a comment on my brother’s blog post about “Six fun reasons to wear a scarf over your face“. I mentioned how I notice that not that many people don’t wear scarfs around my office building, the Oakbrook Terrace Tower.
It got me thinking how there’s always a fair number of people roaming about the Tower. (It’s the tallest building in Illinois outside of Chicago). It’s kinda like having a tiny slice of downtown Chicago in the burbs… and the parking is free! Now, by no means does it replicate the experience of being in downtown Chicago, but most office buildings in the burbs feel like a ghost town. So it’s nice to be in a building that has a steady stream of activity throughout the day. Plus, I was in Chicago for a good portion of this past weekend. I always enjoy going into the city. It’s great having easy access to a top-notch world-class city.
