The iPod is a cultural phenomenon. What’s really amazing is to see all the iPod accessories available. I put together a bunch of iPod accessories on one page. So far there are over 80 iPod-related items. I included links at the bottom to all the photos. It’s quite remarkable to see all these accessories in one location. Who knows how large this page will grow. It’ll be interesting to see how Google will rank this page amongst iPod accessory pages. Cache my website soon, Google!
do you have an iPod, moose? i do. i also have accessories [not that many, relatively]: an iSkin, the basic white earpods, a dock. i will be buying non-pod earpods very soon though – it hurts to jam the iPod earpods into my ear canals. i’m looking at a Sony version. i would love to get an external speaker system as well, but that’s for later.
i don’t see the iSkin on your iPod page. it is one of the most popular cases. it’s rubbery with a rotating clip on the back.
I also want the EarJams and am thinking on the external speaker system.
What I really want to do is be able to hook my iPod up to my stereo system. I’m sure at least one of the accessories on the VERY thorough accessories page designed here at unlikelymoose will do that.
I haven’t warmed up to the iSkin yet. I really love the silver color of my iPod. I take pretty good care of it, so it isn’t scratched … yet … knock on wood.
i got the iSkin because i am prone to dropping things. also, it has a clip on it, and i use that at the gym to clip it to myself. there are lots of cool colors in the iSkin – even glow-in-the-dark ones! mine is called “carbon” – it’s just plain gray.
I don’t even use the belt clip that came with it [nor do I use the belt clip for my mobile phone].
I’ll take another look at the iSkins, but the new earphones are at the top of the list, followed by either iPod speakers or cables that will allow me to hook it up to my stereo
i don’t have an ipod. i have my cd player that can read mp3s. I got it free with my scanner about 3 years ago. My scanner is dead, but the cd/mp3 player lives on. I like that i can easily burn a cd with 700MB worth of tunes. So, buying an ipod is purely luxury for me. And the Shuffle holds 1GB max. for $150? eh. sure it’s teeny tiney. But I’m happy with my free CD/mp3 which can hold 700MB for about 20 cents (the estimated price of a CD-R disc). I am holding out for a 20GB… Read more »
there’s gotta be more than just 80 accessories for the ipod. I bet there is at least 1,000.
yes. there are a lot.
i haven’t found an ipod accessory that can play AM/FM radio. That is an absolute must. I need to be able to listen to Sports Radio AM 670 The Score.
Google finally cached the page. I’m sad to say that my little ipod page doesn’t even appear on the first 10 pages for the search term: ipod accessories
So far I’ve bought the iTrip and the In-Ear headphones. Sweet!
The text was good, but i stil cant find the play ipdates. looking for it dude.
