i have alot of vacation days to take up in decemeber. Whenever possible, I like to take Mondays off rather than Fridays. It’s great when Sunday is almost over and I remember that I have Monday off. It’s like having a bonus day.The whole weekend is so much more enjoyable knowing that I have that extra day off at the end.
When the extra day is on Friday, then the weekend is more like status quo. Once Friday is over, then I fall into my normal weekend routine and I get disappointed when Sunday has to end. And I feel too pressured to make the most of Friday.
It’s much nicer to have Sunday end and then have the bonus day at the end.
However, having a friday off is something to look forward to during the work week. You can treat your Thursday like a Friday.
However, you state a strong argument, and in the future, i’m gonna start taking mondays off instead of fridays. But I already submitted my vacation days for the rest of this year (which is what actually sparked this conversation between erik the moose and I).
As long as I have an extended weekend, it doesn’t really matter to me if the extra day is on a Friday or a Monday.
Happy Turkey Day to you all!!!
i agree. monday wins over friday.
hey moose, i hear you have done a lot of car research. did you find out anything interesting? what kind of car did you buy? i’m starting to think about getting a car, and am checking out various brands. i’m probably getting a used car, but am figuring out what kind of things to look for, like how many miles it has, 2-door vs. 4-door, color, etc.
i did a search on your blog, but did not come up with any previous car postings.
yeah, make a post about cars!
