If you’re feeling daring (or suicidal) you can download the beta version of Quark XPress 7.0. Just make sure the lab is airtight.
Once you download and install the software, you will have 60 days to use XPress 7.
As a side note, you can now sign up to learn Quark XPress 7.0 on a 7-day western Caribbean cruise. Weird.
I don’t understand Quark. Last week I received an email from them announcing that they now have Quark 7 available to the entire public for beta testing. Yesterday, I received an email from Quark announcing that Quark 7 (full version, not beta) is available.
What was the point of making the Beta available when they released the full product less than a week later? What idiots. I would avoid Qaurk 7 completely. There are going to a ton of Quark 7 bugs and errors.
I composed the blog entry last week. It didn’t get published until today.
What could be worse than a cruise? Why a cruise full of people who want to learn Quark XPress 7.0 of course! +shiver+
Do you have an opinion on their new logo? Remember the controversy over their last logo?
their new logo? it’s nice. clean and simple, yet makes something of a statement without being too trendy.
the 3d effect is very effective. Alot of times people will design logos with 3d elements and go overboard. The 3d effects in the quark logo give it a little extra edge. It’s well done.
what was the controversy over their last logo?
