So, you're interested in logo design. I'm here to help.

I have designed a variety of logos in my time. I can create logos with custom illustrated mascots. See the Chupacabras, Wisc. History Day, and Soil Sponge logos.

The Keystone logo demonstrate that I can design corporate logos while maintaing visual interest.

The Love at Full Strength concepts shows that I can deliver a visual, symbolically rich interpretation of a specific message.

The AndreaErik logos are simple, elegant typographic treatments integrating my wife's and my initials.

Symbolism is an effective tool in creating logos. In the past, I have been asked to provide an artist statement for a logo.

I have designed many logos for my current employer, however they told me I must take down all the logos. There are large retail clients and large financial clients. However, there are many logos on the site that you can view.

Whatever your logo need, I will work with you to understand what you want your logo to communicate. I will deliver concepts that will represent your message. When we reach a final, polished logo I will provide the logo in any file format you wish.

The following prices are for logo concepts that will result in one final logo.

# of concepts price
10 logos $400 ($40 per logo)*
15 logos $600 ($40 per logo)*
20 logos $900 ($45 per logo)*
50% of estimated price is required to be paid before work begins.

Why the price jump per logo for 20 vs. 15? I find that after developing 15 concepts, the final 5 (that will make the total of 20) are the most difficult. Extra attention is required to assure top notch creative into those final 5.

* IMPORTANT NOTE! Additional charges if custom illustration is requested
If custom, original illustration is to be used in any design, there is a $75 additional cost per concept that uses custom illustration. For example, if you go with the 10 concept package and wish 3 of those logos to have custom illustrations, there will be a $225 charge ($75 x 3= $225) added to the $400 cost for a total of $625. What is custom illustration? Check out the Soil Sponge page. There are 3 custom, original illustrations that I drew for the Soil Sponge client. (There are actually 4 illustrations in the Soil Sponge concepts, but I slightly changed one of the 3 original illustrations to use in the other designs.) If you check out the Keystone logos, you will see there is no custom illustration, so there would be no additional cost. There are graphical treatments in those logos. I don't consider that to be custom illustration. If I plan on using custom illustration in one or more of the logo concepts, then I will contact you for approval to do so before I develop the illustration. If I use any custom illustration in a job without receiving approval from you first, then there will be no additional charge for the illustration.

The revision process
After you select a pakage and I send you the designs, you have two free rounds of revisions to the 3 finalist logos you select.

What does that mean exactly? Let's select the 10 concepts package as an example. I send you the 10 designs. You have a free round of revisions to the 3 finalists in that set. It includes tweaks like color changes or font changes. It doesn't include major revisions like designing brand new logos. But it could include situations like combining elements from the existing set to create a new logo. There is a $60 per hour charge to work on the changes to logos outside of the three finalists. So, if you wish to add a fourth finalist, I will charge $60 per hour to work on that fourth logo.

Ok, I make those first round changes and send you the revised logos. You have another round to make changes (no major changes just like the first round changes). Most likely the changes in this second round will be just tweaks. If it goes into a three or more rounds, then I apply a $60 per hour charge. (Or if major changes come at any time after I send the set of 10 concepts, then I charge $60 per hour. This would include designing more logos in addition to the set of original 10.) There has never been a need to go beyond a second round of revisions. My goal is to understand my client's need and communicate that visually.

The completed logo
When a logo is selected, I can send it to you in any type of file format and any size on a cd, zip, or floppy disk.. whatever works best for you.

Hey, I also offer other creative services. Check out the other sections of the website. If you're interested, please contact me. (Pricing for non-logo jobs are on a per job basis.)

Feel free to contact me with any questions. I look forward to working with you!
