Title:
  Reagan Crushed the Peanut

Artist:
  Erik Maldre

Description of painting:
This original painting is from the series, "Ronald Reagan Did That" which features a powerful, chiseled graphical portrait of Ronald Reagan accompanying a statement about something Reagan may or may not have done based on his mythic romancing biog.

Ronald Reagan is an icon of American culture. What this icon represents differs depending on whom you are speaking to. The same goes for this series. Was Reagan a warm, spirited leader or a cold, tactical bully?

This painting is in reference to Reagan's dominating victory over Jimmy Carter in the 1980 presidential election.
