style.org has a great tool where you can see what words were used in different speeches by different presidents. Type in the word “war” and you’ll see how often that word was used in a speech. I like typing in less obvious words like “candy”. Common words like “no” and “yes” are interesting.
You can compare George W. Bush’s speeches or you can compare one of his speeches to famous speeches by other presidents.
