Yesterday, Andrea found a snake in our yard. She thought it was cool. I thought it was cool, too. I was able to run in the house and get my camera.
I did a little digging on the internet and I think it’s a Western Ribbon Snake (Thamnophis proximus) More info here. Western Ribbon Snakes are similiar to Garter Snakes except Wes. Ribs have two fused dots on their heads. That’s what this snake had. It was about 50 cm.
I wanted to pick it up like the Croc Hunter and say, “By golly, look at you girl. You’re a little baby. Where’s yur mum? Eh? You’re gorgeous!”
I guess it’s a good thing that I didn’t pick it up cuz that website says “Bits when handled”. Living by Salt Creek rules!
Don’t eat the carp!
Will the groundhog and the snake become buddies? They they team up and overpower your house once and for all?
Oh no no no … if they join forces, put them to work! One can be the maid and the other can be the chauffeur!
Now you’re talking, Tom. Actually, there was a raccoon under our porch steps a couple weeks ago. Maybe I can recruit him to be the chef.
This has TV sitcom written all over it.
eat my asshole. eat my asshole.
