The other day I noticed that the fire alarm in the hallway of my office is by Pyrotronics. How cool is that name? huh? The design of this particular fire alarm is pretty cool, too. The white trim looks sharp and it’s the same thickness as the letters in “FIRE”. The icon above “FIRE’ is also well-designed. And it’s pretty clever how they have the arrow pointing down at their name. Well done, Pyrotronics. Well done indeed.
It appears as though the “Pyrotronics” name has been applied to the fire alarm with a sticker. Perhaps the name of the manufacturer was different at some point.
“Pyrotronics” is not a sticker. What appears to be a long horizontal sticker is actually an embossed area. That red area is embossed. In fact, everything that is white is embossed.
I’m going to have to see if I a] can find a fire alarm in my building and b] if it’s half as stylish as yours.
Somebody at your office needs to pull out some Pledge and a rag. That fire alarm has a bunch of dirt/dust in the crevices. Clean that sucker up and make it pretty!!!
*I* don’t want to touch it. *YOU* touch it!
