one more cool use for a brick

a couple days ago i was thinking about different ways to use my wrigley field brick. This one is pure brillance!

“Light bulbs convert about 5% of the electric energy into light and 95% into heat. Formfjord‘s light consists of a brick which picks up the wasted heat-energy and makes it usable. The brick radiates heat even one hour after switching off the light.”

Rather than finding new ways to use the waster energy, why not design a more energy efficient lightbulb that creates more light and less heat.

While the brick design is nice, it seems typical of our society’s need to fix the symptom rather than the underlying cause.

you could put the warm brick in your bed, to keep your feet warm.
