It's always interesting to read into the different strategies employed by real estate brokers/agents in home listings especially when there's an exact character limit.

This one cracked me up. It ends with "Stunning yard w/ waterfall & rock garden. STUNNING" That waterfall and rock garden really must be something special that they felt the need to repeat the same adjective and then shout it with all caps. The lack of a period is interesting too. They just want to keep talking about how stunning the waterfall/rock garden is.

And yes, if you look at the photos of this house, there indeed are two pictures featuring a gong in the living room. STUNNING

Million dollar idea: pixel pretzels.

To commemorate this million dollar idea is a piece I call "14 PIXEL PRETZELS".

Any word with the letters "x" or "z" smack dab in the middle is a word that's alright by me. In retrospect I should have used "pretzel" instead of "pretzels".

Today is the 15th anniversary of my (and many friends/family) graduation from Illinois Wesleyan University

I got one hour of sleep last night (purposely so). Now I'm paying the price. To keep going I made a drawing. It's safe to say this is the most subconsciously drawn art I've ever made.

The streak is over

Well, I haven't made a blog post for a couple months now. That pretty much definitely ends my 5 year 9 month streak of a blog post every single weekday. I like that phrase: "pretty much definitely"

Things are very busy in the Maldre household these days and months, so the the ol' blog-a-roo has been pushed to the side. I still plan on making posts here and there, but they won't follow the same consistency from prior years. So thanks for hanging in there and casually look for posts in the near future.

Some time I'll offer a blog post covering some insight and stats about the streak.

peace among multi-vitamins

Lately as I have been pouring out my daily allotment of two multi-vitamins, they have been segregating themselves by color. Two yellow one day, Two red the next day. I hope my vitamins can reach harmony among themselves and begin to integrate as I take my daily dose.

Fortunately this racial divide did not occur to the bag of peanut M&Ms I ate last night.
