I was searching ebay for lego sculptures. I’m shocked that I can only find one ebay store that sells custom lego sculptures. BrickCreations currently has 12 lego sculptures for sale. Some are very nice. My favorite is the tiki cup thing.
Though I’m more interested in abstract lego sculpture. Whenever someone builds something out of lego, they always have the need to make it represent something. I like to appreciate the formal qualities that a lego sculpture can do. Let lego be lego.
I did a bunch of lego sculptures a few months ago. I think I’m going to revisit those and throw some up on ebay. Too many of my current sculptures are far to fragile to send through the mail even if they are glued tightly together. The great thing about lego sculptures is that you can make them in editions so it’s easier to manage on ebay.
