faceoff friday: Christmas Villains

Who would win? The Grinch or Scrooge?

Money is power and Scrooge could simply invest in some heavy artillery to destroy the Grinch. However, the Grinch is a creative and sly creature who would use some form of guerilla warfare to pounch on Scrooge.

It may come down to which character has more pent up anger. I'm going with the Grinch. At least Scrooge was part of civil society. The Grinch completely isolated himself atop that hill. Plus, that hill is a perfect homebase from which to fight.

I go with Grinch. He has more initiative.

I'm also going with The Grinch. He's the Wylie Coyote of Christmas-loathing: a conniving and creative curmudgeon.

Scrooge is just cheap. Most Scrooges are part of a society (I think most of us can think of a real-life Scrooge).

Grinches have been rejected or ignored by society, likely increasing the amount of their anger and chance that they will retaliate.

Fortunately, in the end, they both find their heart.

Happy Christmas.

Scrooge.

Golden Rule. (He who has the gold, makes the rules).

Old Eb' would just slip Burke and Hare a few bob, and the Grinch would be floating face-down in the Thames by tea time...
