shoulder cannon

I said in a post from a couple days ago that my money is on the pirate with the gun. I neglected to think of the pirate with a shoulder cannon. Captain Hook is in a bit of trouble there. Aargh.

but when the cannon pirate shoots his canon, he will experience such an incredible whiplash that he will either fall off the boat and into the ocean. Or the cannon will merely fly out of his hands and into the ocean, leaving him weaponless. Captain Hook has to dodge just one cannonball.

Even of cannon pirate manages to hold onto the cannon and stay in the boat, he still has to manually reload his cannon with a new cannonball after every shot. This would give Captain Hook plenty of time to win.

Sorry cannonboy, but you lose.

Don't count the Cannon Pirate out so quickly. It looks as if he has a knife or gun of some sort tucked into the sock on his right foot. Plus he could always swing the cannon like a bat.

Besides, Captain Hook is goofy looking with that hair and outift. I don't think he's got enough scrap in him to beat Cannon-boy.

I'm with Mark. Your theory is flawed, spud. Tell me, how can a person dodge a cannonball being fired out of a cannon at close range? Did you forget that the cannon pirate has a cannon? He's not throwing the cannon balls with his bare hands. Captain Hook could avoid his blasts if he were 50 yards away. But even then Cannon Pirate would have time to reload and continue firing at Captain Hook until Hookie got closer. Once Hook gets closer, it will be very, very difficult to avoid a cannon blast. Even if he alluded the cannon blast at close range (which he can't), the cannon pirate can simply throw the cannon balls at him and cause enough temporary harm for cannon pirate to pull out his knife and slice up Captain Hook.

And I don't see the cannon flying out of the pirate's grasp. He's a big dude. That cannon staying squarely on his shoulder after each blast.

Good observation on Cannon Pirate's sock knife, Mark.

Besides, I'd rather buy the cannon pirate toy than the Captain Hook toy. He just kicks a55. I need to add the amazon links to the toys.
