why QuarkXPress is #2

Nowadays it's pretty clear that QuarkXPress is second fiddle to Adobe InDesign. There's plenty of reasons why. Well, I'll add another. On Quark's site they list the top 10 reasons to upgrade to XPress 7. I was hoping to find some solid, concrete reasons to upgrade. Instead it was all fluff; especially numbers 1, 5, 6, and 10. Pretty pathetic and disappointing. I'd bet a lot people would use those two words to describe XPress 7.

1. Outdesign your competition
2. We know your type
3. Reduce palette clutter
4. Synchronize your content
5. Come together. Right now
6. Show your true colors
7. Achieve output perfection
8. Open doors with open standards
9. Avoid workflow drama
10. Put your ideas in motion

I was just having this discussion at work with someone. What makes InDesign better than Quark?
