flipping turntable to hide clutter

This table is sheer brillance. Just utter brillance. I've posted links to other pieces of furniture that are interesting, but this one takes the cake. It is called the Wiedenmann & Averdiek Turntable.

From the website:

"Only the stupid need organisation, the genius controls the chaos." Albert Einstein.

But at times even the genius longs for an empty tabletop. The Turntable helps us
control the chaos. Without distroying the beloved and creativity aiding disorder,
the Turntable stores it away within itself*, easily to be restored at any time.

*Hereby the disorder is actually preserved in its original place, simply the space is being warped.

130 x 80 x 75 cm.
Felt, steel, wood.
White, charcoal

I love the concept, but the functionality needs to be improved slightly so that the "clutter" stays in that pouch thing. As it is, I think it will end up all over the floor.

And speaking of the floor, why do you think the photographer included that wad of paper on the floor in the shot? It was obviously placed there intentionally. But why?

what's the weight capacity of this little pocket? It's also kinda funny how there is one tiny crumpled sheet of paper in the corner in each of the photos.

I've been looking at this since you posted and the same thought keeps coming back: I can still see the mess!
