While at the Bulls game last night, a case of The Wave broke out. I don’t know if The Wave is a common occurrence in the United Center, but it should stop immediately. Chicago sports fans DO NOT do the wave. That’s what I have been taught since I was a little toddler. I suppose it’s that way in Chicago because The Wave is so trite and western-coast-like. It is quite difficult for one man to stop The Wave. It’s like stopping a storming herd of buffalo.
Though I have to admit the only reason why I wish to ban The Wave is for tradition’s sake. It was quite entertaining watching people get really excited. There was one guy in a Rodman jersey with a beer in hand getting very excited when it was our section’s turn to wave.

What they should ban is thunder sticks. ANNOYING.
The Wave has been around forever! It’s time to end the madness. I mean when the produce in a TV commercial are doing the wave you know it’s time to stop!

i think a new version of the wave should be introduced, where people move horizontally instead of vertically.
