I was watching one of those “buy, renovate, and sell” home shows the other night. The main dude on the show was visiting his childhood buddy who turned into a deadbeat. He had a “pet” raccoon in a spare room. The deadbeat was leaving the house and he was kissing the coon goodbye. I was disgusted by this.
    1. disease. who knows what diseases that raccoon is carrying
    2. viciousness. I don’t believe there is such thing as a domesticated raccoon. Look at Siegfried & Roy. Their tigers were supposedly domesticated for years and then one day, one of the tigers completely removes Roy’s entire shoulder. I was just waiting for that raccoon to claw out that guy’s eyeball.
