2006 Christmas card

2006 Christmas card

On the morning of December 1st, 2006, there was a perfect snowstorm. It was the kind of snow that is perfect for making snowmen or making custom Christmas cards. I looked out the window, saw the snow and I immediately knew what that year’s Christmas card was going to be. It wasn’t that hard shoveling the message, “HAPPY HOLIDAYS” in my driveway. It took maybe 40 minutes. I decided to go with a simple block font, Each stroke was the same width as my shovel. I then took photos of the message from my bedroom window. My wife took the last shot of me standing by the “H” in “HAPPY”. The resulting photos were collaged in Photoshop.

The only card that might have been equally as popular as this one was my 2000 PEZ card.
