10th year anniversary of graduation

Today is the 10 year anniversary of my graduation from Illinois Wesleyan University. My four years there was a great, great time of my life.

Shown in photo: bottom row from left: Jennifer Holt, Andrea Hampson, Karen Cranston, Donna Makarowski. back row from left: Darin Skutt, Laura Cizewski, Craig Isaacs, Jeff Brown, Jaime Ingle, Erik Maldre, Mark Raistrick

ADDITION TO BLOG POST (5/8/07)
Below is a photo submitted by Laura. It shows my brother blowing soap bubbles at graduation. To the left is Laura and I. The two of us look deathly afraid of the deadly soap bubbles. The photo was published on the cover of the Monday, May 5, 1997 edition of The Pantagraph, the newspaper of Bloomington/Normal, Illinois and surrounding towns. The photo shown is of the newspaper clipping in a frame.

Wow, it has been 10 years. I’ve got the Pantagraph photo [I’m in it too]. But it’s framed, so I don’t know if I can get it out of the frame to scan. I was working at Walgreens at the time, and one of my coworkers saved a Pantagraph and cut out the photo and framed it for me, since I was graduating and leaving town [and leaving my employment at the Bloomington Walgreens too].

What kind of expression do I have on my face? That’s horrible. I’m going to blame the sun…

Yes, moose, you and I look a little fearful. In fact, I seem to be nervously laughing and keeping my distance, while you have your eyes closed and are obviously silently praying for a safe end to graduation.

I can’t believe it’s been 10 years! And it’s been one year since my “other” graduation. Tempus fugit.
