On the morning of February 20, 2000 there was a gigantic snow storm. The temperature was close to 32 degrees which is perfect for snowpacking which is perfect for snowman building. Given the conditions just mentioned, there was an invasion of snowmen, snowwomen, snowdogs, and other unidentifiable snowcreatures into Chicago's western burbs. That afternoon I furiously photographed as many snowfigures as possible. All the photos you see below were taken in south Elmhurst, Illinois. Total: 110.
